I am retired from the 9-to-5 world of work, but I stay very busy caring for my 94-year-old mother.  She has resided with me and my husband for most of the last 13 years.  Although my career involved the manipulation of numbers to ensure proper budgeting, etc., I have always enjoyed journaling and sorting out feelings by putting thoughts into words.  I created this blog to document the caregiving challenges that my husband and I have very willingly accepted.  I hope to write more blogs in the future as my husband and i both face our own aging process.
